TRAJECTORY ZONE BLASTS NEW PERSPECTIVE TO CLASSIC GAME SYTLE

Independent game developer Midnight Ryder Technologies today announced that the multiplayer beta of Trajectory Zone, a new 3D shooter with artillery-style gameplay, will debut at Indie Games.

We've taken a 3D approach to the old shareware artillery games, said Davis Ray Sickmon, Jr., lead developer and owner of Midnight Ryder Technologies. Trajectory Zone introduces real time, high-energy gameplay instead of the typical turn based play. We're thrilled to finally give players and other developers a peek at the game and a chance to lob explosives at the other conference attendees!

By adding Internet and LAN play options, detailed pre-generated and random levels to play in, an editor to allow creation of custom levels, the single player Alien Invasion mode, and 25 types of ammo to throw at the other players, Trajectory Zone takes artillery-style gameplay to all-new heights. Since the game is based on the Torque Game Engine, the mod community can extend the game even further by creating new weapons, items, and environments.

Trajectory Zone is a new twist on an old genre, says Eric Forhan, art director for Trajectory Zone. It's style takes literally the phrase, 'The best defense is a great offense.' This game's a blast.
