Sports Trivia Game and Score Ticker Now Available for Motorola iDEN Phones

Motorola, Inc., and ESPN today announced the availability of ESPN's 2-Minute Drill trivia game and The BottomLine sports information application for Motorola's iDEN(R) phones for Nextel wireless customers.

The 2-Minute Drill is a sports trivia game challenging users to answer enough questions correctly within two minutes to advance to the further rounds. The BottomLine provides personalized sports information, including up-to-the-minute scores, headlines and game details, displayed as a ticker across the bottom of the phone's screen.

These exciting applications from ESPN demonstrate the functionality of Java technology-enabled phones by Motorola, which can be customized to meet the needs of individual users, said Peter Aloumanis, vice president and general manager, U.S. Markets Division, Motorola's iDEN(R) Subscriber Group. Now, sports fans can receive up-to-the-minute scores and other sports information on the same device they use for their mobile communications.

ESPN is committed to being anywhere sports fans are, which often means on the go, added Rick Alessandri, vice president, ESPN. Having these features available to Motorola and Nextel customers further extends our reach to fans anytime, any place.
