Take A Chance And Play The Risk Board Game
The Risk board game is a game that has been in homes for many years. Risk is a game of world domination, where the object is to conquer the world. To win, you must attack and defend; attacking to acquire territory, and defending to keep it from your opponents. The board features a map of six continents divided into forty-two territories. The original board game allows six players to play at a time. The Risk board game is not the original game however as it has been played in more primitive forms even before this. Risk has been played for centuries with the use of a world drawn on the ground with a stick. Versions and rules have changed but the basic concept has stayed the same.
Following the introduction of the Risk board game, many slightly different versions have been produced with similar concepts all under the Risk name. This has moved the game into a very competitive arena with worldwide competitors. Large tournaments are easy to find if you are of a mind to play in one. Just be warned that the competition is stiff and some people take the game very seriously at this level of competition.
The Internet can provide you with all the information about the various versions and their differences. It is also a good source for game strategies and tips. Chat rooms can be located with the only subject being about the Risk board game. This can all be a big help if you are just learning the game.
